Terms

You own your screenshots and the rendered output. Use them anywhere, including App Store, Play Store, marketing material, and screenshots for press.

AppScreen is provided as-is. We render PNGs; we don't promise they'll get your app approved. You're responsible for following App Store / Play Store guidelines on imagery, claims, and text (no fake awards, no false promises, etc.).

Plans. Paid plans (Starter, Pro, Team) renew monthly or yearly, whichever you chose, until cancelled. Cancel any time from your Stripe portal — the plan continues until the end of the period you've paid for. Upgrades and changes of billing cycle take effect at once and are prorated; a move to a smaller plan takes effect at period end. Subscription refunds within 7 days of purchase, no questions asked. A Team plan is billed to the team workspace it was bought for; extra seats are billed with it.

Credits. Usage is metered in credits: one credit is one exported image (a screen in one size and one language). A plan grants its credits each month, including on yearly billing. Unused plan credits roll over one billing period — what carries is capped at one month's allowance — and are forfeited when the subscription is cancelled and ends. An export that fails is refunded in full. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred between workspaces.

Credit packs. Credit packs are one-time purchases, available on every plan including Free. Pack credits are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and expire after that. They are not affected by changing or cancelling a plan. A pack can be refunded within 14 days of purchase while it is wholly unspent; once any credit from a pack has been used, the pack is no longer refundable. If a pack is refunded, its unspent credits are removed.

Don't try to reverse-engineer the rate limits or distribute credentials. Don't upload illegal imagery. Don't use the renderer to impersonate other apps or brands. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that do.

Data processing. How we process your personal data, including lawful basis, sub-processors, transfers, and retention, is set out in /privacy. If you process personal data of third parties through AppScreen on a paid plan, the Data Processing Addendum forms part of these Terms. The current sub-processor list is at /legal/subprocessors.

Liability. To the extent permitted by law, AppScreen's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be excluded under EU consumer law.
